Getting started with social skills groups

School is a social sport–let’s show our speech and language students how to successfully join the team! We will cover the foundations of social skills instruction, how to create and lead social skills groups (weekly or “boot camp” style) and how to get buy-in from teachers and parents. You will leave with lots of specific lesson plans and handouts! Focus is on preschool – Gr. 5 groups.

Hosted by a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in the field including weekly social skills groups and camps. We will draw from a variety of popular social communication approaches.  Over 90% of the families who have attended my social skills groups/camps gave a “highly satisfied” rating.
